ABOUT HOPE ROAD MINISTRIES...

    My name is Mike Ward, Founder/Director of Hope Road Ministries. A graduate of Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary, with 36 years of Church engagement. I've had the joy and challenge of pastoring 5 churches in 3 different states. Most of my churches were full vocation, but I have served as a Bi-vocational pastor as well. I truly have experienced the ups and downs of the Christian Ministry, Christian Man, and the Christian Family. I've been victorious on the mountaintop and also been spiritually exhausted in the valley. I've walked through failures and victories...I've experienced the work of repentance as well as the work of restoration. God has called me to encourage the man of God. To first Encourage the Pastor/Preacher to stay the course and help build them up! And secondly, for those who have made a wrong turn in their christian life or ministry, we are here to help them get back on the right road-the road filled with HOPE, to witness victory and restoration in Jesus.

   I found it a difficult "up & down" road trying to spiritually live and survive while buried in guilt and shame. God desires for us to live in victory! Not doing so, is living way below your spiritual birthright! THERE IS a Forgiveness & Healing for the broken heart and broken spirit! After all JESUS came to "heal the brokenhearted" and "set the captive free" (Lk. 4:18). It is critical after a setback to experience the work of FORGIVENESS...then to establish a battle plan! You need one that involves putting Biblical principals in place, understanding Spiritual Warfare and Reestablishing your Purpose and Calling in Jesus. Make NO MISTAKE about it...The goal of this Ministry is that you "FINISH STRONG" finding strength and encouragement in JESUS, never having to fall !!

  My prayer is that you find encouragement here, to stand strong in your battles. If you've faced defeat I pray you find the courage to take the next step NOW. That you allow JESUS to put the pieces of your life back together again.

 

By personal experience...one night in despair, God promised me JOB 42:12..."The LORD blessed the latter end of Job's life more than he did the beginning" . HE can do the same thing in you....and YOU can start here! My "HOPE" is that you will.
